This is our student’s annual end of the year production (recital). We look forward to seeing you there!

The "Paint Party" is a non-alchoholic sip and paint event serving as a fundraiser for our students annual Dance and Music Recital.  Snacks, beverages, and all materials needed for artwork will be provided.  And of course we will have some fun music!  Come our for a night of fun with us, to support a great cause.  We are putting the ART in PARTY! 

Come celebrate our students as they showcase their dance and musical selections prepared just for you! It will be a great journey of music from various Broadway shows and film musicals. You don't want to miss it!

TIME: 12pm (doors open at 11:30am)

(One ticket prices for all ages. Children 2 and younger who can sit in their parents lap are free. Everyone who has a seat in the theater must have a ticket.)

Have a little faith in the transformative power of art during a Sunday afternoon of enlightening activities. Inspired by select works from the Museum’s reinstalled Seeing America gallery.

Highlights:

• Live tap dance and a cappella performances celebrating various faiths. Performers include: Brinae Ali and FREQUENCY A Cappella.

• VR experiences exploring the Bible, Mecca, and more.

• Liturgical dance and vocal lessons. Led by Soul Xpressiion School of the Arts.

• Create your own fridge magnet based on your personal happy habits. Led by artist, Barbara Ann Michaels.

• Multimedia presentation on representations of diverse faiths in contemporary visual art. Led by visual artist, Jo-El Lopez.

• Program also includes gallery tours and planetarium shows.

We will be accompanying Mr. Mustafa in South Orange as he plays for Piano’s around the town. Come out and watch our students and friends dance along to the numerous piano songs. All of our Thursday dance instructors will be present conducting their classes and PERFORMING! You don’t want to miss this event.

Soul Xpressiion School of the Arts will be hosting our 2nd Annual Paint and Sip fundraiser event for our Annual Recital.  Please support by choosing one of the following times:

Saturday, Feb. 11th @ 1-3pm

Saturday, Feb. 11th @ 4-6pm

*Each date has a pre-selected painting.      

The workshops will provide information of the different expressions or styles of worship, while educating each participant on different techniques of dance.  Dancers will participate in an interactive and inspirational worship experience.  Each participant is encourage to dress comfortably, bring water, and come with a heart ready to worship.  We look forward to dancing with you!

What year do you represent?  80s or 90s?  And what decade had the best music? Well, we will battle it out through dance and just fun times together.  Please dress with your 80s or 90s attire and come out for a night of fun with food and music by DJ Erick.  All proceeds go towards our Annual Dance, Music, and Drama Recital.  Excited to see you there!

We are thrilled to have Ms. Lei-Joy Robinson as our guest instructor!  She has performed throughout the tri-state area within two different professional dance companies and is an amazing choreographer in both hip hop and modern dance.  You are in for a treat!  Come ready to work hard, increase in skill and technique, and most of all have fun!
